Miles is one of those guys that I think will be a better pro than college player. The floor gets so cluttered and he's playing more 3 (I think). In the NBA I think he's a scoring floor spacing four. I hope he can playmake a bit too.

I see him and I think Tobias Harris... Not sure if it just because of how they are built. If he can defend better than Tobias that's a killer player in the mid lotto. I like him a lot.

Another underrated thing is just the maturity and work ethic on these guys. Dudes that have flaws but are mature enough to recognize them and work on them can fix stuff. With Donovan Mitchell I have been impressed with what he does on the court, but the off court attitude and maturity gives me the utmost confidence that he will get to his ceiling as a player (health permitting). I think that stuff gets a little underrated sometimes. Dudes who are crazy athletes, but mental midgets are getting weeded out more and more with how smart basketball is getting.

Side note on the college game and a cluttered floor... this is part of why Trae Young is so impressive to me. Stretching the floor like he does opens up so much stuff. He makes college offense beautiful and entertaining, which is basically a miracle.

I was noticing that Miles Bridges is dropping a little, at least trending downward, a couple questions...

Would you want him on the Jazz?
What do you think his best position is?

I think he projects best as a 4 in today's NBA.

Depending on who else is available where we pick, yeah, I'd be down for Bridges.

I just have a hard time seeing a 6'6" player with what a 6'10" wing span could be successful playing the 4. (I could be wrong but just worry)

His speed would create a huge mismatch against bigger PF

Here is my attempt at a big board entering the conference play. Didnt spend a ton of time on it, and probably already disagree with stuff on it, but I think it represents what I believe loosely.

Solid list A for effort... Cy has been consistently good with draft prospects. We generally disagree quite a bit so it pains me to admit it.

I'd probably have Bridges top ten... have a bad feeling on Knox but not sure if it is justified.

Still think NBA GMs won't have the stones to take Trae Young when physical specimens like Ayton and Bagley on the board. Someone may take him over Porter depending on the medical stuff. This is your board and I think he's got a higher ceiling in today's game... so I don't have an issue with it.

One question... is Jaren Jackson a unicorn (rim protecting, 3 point shooter) I don't believe in his jumper because mechanics are goofy. If it's for real is he a more bouncy Horford? I could see him sliding into the Top 5.

Bridges is built like a tank... He will have zero problems playing the 4 unless he's going against Anthony Davis (who creates problems for everyone).

Finding that more and more 4s can be small.

This is an interesting year for me as my thoughts and views on prospects are going to be informed way more by draft twitter than draftexpress.

DX was great... I may end up buying insider as ESPN will finally have content worth paying for.

The videos Schmidt works on are awesome... that guy is going to be a big deal... at summer league he came in and everyone talks to that guy and you can tell they all love him.

More I think of it Trae Young may be one of the safer top 5 guys... Doncic excluded.

Worst case I think he's a better passing Lou Williams... Best case is Steph... He could cool off and make that look stupid, but a 54% 3 point attempt rate and a 47% FT attempt rate is basically what Harden is doing right now. I see no way he isn't an incredibly impactful offensive player. His steal and rebound rates suggest he's a decent athlete and may be okay/adequate on that end.

The 4 spot has changed so much in recent years, and I think that trend will continue. Playing 1-in/4-out, or even 5-out is how teams want to play now; Bridges as a 4 fits that concept.

I just wish he had a longer wing span that is all. His standing reach is pretty pedestrian but he makes up for a lot of that with athleticism. Don't get me wrong I would not complain if the Jazz drafted him. I just think he might be more of a bullish 3.
