S/o to Markus Howard for dropping 40 in the second half last week, but after Trae Young there's 2 diminutive guards above the rest and it's first and foremost Jalen Brunson and then the sleeper pick is Tremont Waters... Jazz would be ecstatic to get this kid in the 2nd.. He's pure offense.
 
If u want a real offensive oriented backup PG int he 2nd rd. Jerome Robinson at BC could be the one. he's 6'5".. He's 2nd rd quality. I mentioned him a few times last year for sure.

I'll take him over the kid the Nuggets use with the Gobert pick swap anyday..

The more I think about it, he could go flying up the boards (to the 30's) he was borderline 2nd rd grade last year tbh and there appears to be a nice new layer of polish.

If u swapped Jerome Robinson with this bum Peter Jackson Cartwright, who i'm sick and tired of watching and is one of my least favorite players in years, on Arizona, Arizona would be a million times better... Zona should probably start Rawle at PG and put Randolph at SG (Randolph is a 1st rd talent and one of the best SG's in the land --- talent wise) but thats another story..

The real big $$$$ question, and lemme just tell ya right away this is one of the reasons why he's gonna continue to pass the eye test with flying colors is; just how shifty is he with the ball??? He looks good to me, I really like his handle and overall PG instincts.................... Cuz like a lot of the other 'questions' he's gonna auto-pilot straight thru the entire draft process, there's not like some fatal flaw being hidden here, he's just this raw project prospect with excellent tools.

I have long spoke of this exact prototype NBA build, I call it the Latrell Spreewell build, but basically, it's a swingman, and these dudes are now swingman sized PG's it's that simple, thats a trend Exum's a part of it ez.

He is a colossus with a deft shooting touch. That is the best way I can put it, when he's 25 Rudy will have a very tough time moving him an inch, he's that strong..

The test for Troy Brown will be whether he can take defenders off the dribble and score in isolation. It was a big revelation about Harrison Barnes when he couldn't take guys off the dribble or get by defenders in general. I think Troy Brown is a bit quicker and shiftier than Barnes. But even if he struggles with his off-the-dribble game, he's enough of a triple-threat player to create a look for himself or a teammate. It's not like Hayward was great off the dribble or very explosive either.
 
I am not opposed to brown but I do worry about his abilty to get his shot off at the NBA LVL. His game reminds me a lot of Joe Ingles

Ew, no way. He's much more nimble and explosive than that. Check him out some more.

Look at the move he makes starting 15 secs in here...



If I had to come up with a comp just for Brown's athleticism, I would say he's safely as athletic as Allan Houston from the Knicks (assuming people still remember who that is). Allan Houston had no trouble getting his shot off and was a 20 ppg scorer, prior to having injury issues.

If you want a wing who is athletic, shifty and explosive, then you might like Hamidou Diallo. The problem with Diallo is that he takes a fair number of off-balance mid-range looks. He's a bit like a younger Alec Burks in that respect.
