Following Potential 2018 Draftees

Anfernee Simons is on the Nike Hoop Summit USA team..

Along with; Keldon Johnson, Tyler Herro, Tre Jones, Cam Reddish, Zion Williamson, Bol Bol, Louis King, David McCormack, Darius Garland, Darius Bazley, Romeo Langford..
Loved Romeo Langford's game when i saw him last year. Had forgotten about him. That's a good group.

Aaron Holiday just managed to pack a MAJOR meltdown into the final 71 seconds of this play-in game, and it most definitely cost UCLA a chance to advance...

If u actually look the (phantom)foul on Jaylen Adams with a minute to go, it was an atrocious call and a blatant push off by Holiday, and he followed that with like 3 turnovers IIRC, it was super ugly..

Oh yeah, he's one of the top-4 'amateur' SG's on the planet IMO, next to Doncic and the #1 player in the HS class of 2020, Jalen Green and the #1 player in the HS class of 2021 Terrence Clarke..

He's gonna decide his college next month. I'm thinking it's Vanderbilt to go play with Darius Garland who's also on the Hoop Summit squad, and a personal favorite of mine for years.

Darius Bazeley is really a player to watch if you havent seen him much either. He's not quite Brandon Ingram or Jaren Jackson Jr but I have a similar, he's fitting to blow up, feeling about how he's gonna be perceived nationally once people like the regulars in this thread get a steady look at him.

There's probably kids eligible for that world squad invite that shouldn't show up cuz they gonna get exposed vs that type of quality competition. The US squad is gonna score a lot of points, major firepower, way more than usual.

all i know is I will be watching Duke play next year with

Reddish
Jones
Williamson
Barrett

1 player away from a fab 5

It's not a fab 5 it's more like the Jackson 5 and there is only one Michael - Cameron Reddish.

They are involved with 6'10" EJ Montgomery who's got guard skills, he'd be the player you're looking for tho its likely Duke will have some very good returnee's to fill in their depth chart.

I would advise to not go too crazy with the hype for the Dukies next year, they'll be good but gimmie Bagley and Carter over and 2 of them..

Didn't submit a bracket anywhere decided there was better bets to make. The 2 main reasons were the De'Andre Hunter injury and IMO an atrocious job of seeding (not that I'm some resume watcher -- as someone who goes mainly by the eye-test I'm floored by some of the seeding...)

That broken wrist is also probably the end of Hunter's 2018 first rd campaign.

O'Shae Brissett who I've been mentioning here for a long time, since he was like 2" shorter, showcased very well last night vs ASU... who under no circumstance should've made the tourney, did y'all see how they went out like punks in the pac-12 tourney? what a mockery.

Lamar Peters dropped 14 assists int he NIT last night, this season was a wash for him, which is pretty good considering that his father was shot to death in January. It really does seem like from watching them they've turned it on late in the season, really just a matchup issue with Tennessee is what held them back this year.
