How good is his defense?

Seems solid. Doesnt have tools to be lock down, but athletic enough and tough enough not to be a liability guarding 1s and 2s imo. Doesn't have the length to switch out and guard 3s.

Honestly the only full game I watched was the national title... the rest was just Youtube analysis. He made two awesome defensive plays... I think hes a good functional athlete... not just one that measures well.

I think he may end up being more of a PG if he's going to hit his ceiling. I think he's a playmaker... i just have an irrational love for him. I am not sure if it is true but I heard he is actually the lovechild of Adam Keefe and Jeff Hornacek.

If DiVincenzo stays in the draft, he might rise up the draft boards and get drafted like Nik Stauskas did. And if the Jazz really do like him, they'd better trade up again like they did with Donovan. Btw did Diallo really killed his draft stock that much to be projected in the late 2nd rd? Wow, was it a mistake for him to pull out from the draft last year?

You dont trade up to get the slightly better version of Pat Connaughton

I think he likely has a high floor as a player... like I think he is at worst a slightly better Pat Connaughton (sp?)... but could be more.

I officially have fallen in love with 37 players in our range, so I highly doubt I will be disappointed with whoever we end up with.

I think he's probably going to go back to school. He's played so little and been unhealthy. Maybe he goes mid-2nd round. I'd consider Troy Brown a playmaker.

We have a way of finding the 1 though... wanted anyone but Lyles... was not happy about the Tony Bradley pick, but that late in the draft I wasn't destroyed about it.

I mean, it's what everyone has been saying since Connaughton was the last small white guy who could jump really high.

If I knew Donte could guard NBA starting PG's well I would be more bullish on him.

And this is the thing that would kind of make me mad about drafting Donte: Why in the hell didnt we draft Josh Hart when he had the chance. Josh Hart is undoubtedly better than Donte IMO, and he was there.
