Following Potential 2018 Draftees

So some guys on here say Philly is just going to sell the #26 pick but Brooklyn won't sell #29 for $4 cap space AND cash? I love how I'm the only guy in this entire forum held accountable for presenting trade ideas. Its comical really.

BK is pick starved and got the pick by acquiring Carroll... now they sell it off to save a fraction of the cap space and for seconds.

It’s LoPosided... I couldn’t help myself.

Philly might defer a pick this year because they don’t have roster spots and have an abundance of picks. They won’t sell those picks though.

Brooklyn took a bad pick with a bad contract. They get to save almost 33% of the salary on that bad contract and pick up 2 2nd rounders. And, Carroll is not in the long term plans there but Burks might. You just never know.

And this was just a suggested concept. I get it, you dont like it. But to dismiss it as completely unrealistic or stupid is quite aggressive.

We get a far better pick and a far better player. Get a clue. Bro.

If Carroll is far better, why did a contender in Toronto pay to dump him? You don't think they could use a guy we see as valuable?

Last year, people on here would have lit me up if I said we could use Trey Lyles and #24 to get into the lottery. I would have been roasted. At the end of the day, GMs throw ideas out and hope they start discussions.

I didn't purpose an exact trade, i only suggest that they may want to sell one of their picks considering their boat load of picks. Don't try to drag me into your fantasy land of trades. I fine with you purposing trades, i don't think all of them are crazy but in this situation I did not propose an exact trade. I don't know if they are willing to sell their pick or not but even their seconds are intriguing so maybe they are a team we could deal with.

I wasn't talking about you cowhide. People have said Philly would simply sell their #26 pick to us in recent weeks. I apologize if it seemed like I was attacking your recent idea.

Hey Wes, I was just saying it was a little aggressive to call my concept dumb considering your idea of us getting Gallinari and 2 lottery picks for not too much. I don't think its a dumb idea but it wont fly. I like it as a starting point if our FO likes Gallinari. Simply categorizing any idea as dumb is counterproductive in my opinion. Most ideas are discussion starters not final products.

For example, maybe my Burks and 2nds for Carroll and #29 turns into Burks and #21 for Carroll, #29 and multiple 2nd rounders. Considering how we have traded 1sts for vets more than once in recent years, its realistic.
