Troy Brown looks like he's going to get by people by bullying them a bit, driving through contact and using his length, like in the first 3 plays in these highlights. Big guards can sometimes get away with that. Paul Pierce used to do that a lot.

Paul Pierce could finish at the rim. He could dunk. This guy doesn't show anything like that. And these are in his highlights vs. college kids. Maybe he'll develop more than I think, perhaps even grow another half inch or so, I don't know. But I personally don't want him.

His game is rudimentary. Doesn't always play under control. But yeah, he has elite tools -- length, speed, vertical. It's close to DWade. The fact he could score 18 ppg on a crappy team with his current lack of development only portends to what he could do if he develops.

Yeah he sort of looked like a crazy man out there which is concerning but I also like it from a passion/energy perspective. His shot also looks a bit loose but he did shoot over 38% from three both years so there's that.

You said he was good right away and he wasn't. Sure, he was an NBA player but that's about it. Took him a while.

11 ppg was very good for his role his 2nd year.... And it was actually 12 ppg

Royce averaged 5 points per game and was a great rookie.
