Following Potential 2018 Draftees

Also, if we trade a 1st (where there will def be legit talent at 21) for a guy with one year left on his contract again, I’ll be ****ing annoyed. Realistically, we aren’t winning it all next year. And Mrotic isn’t that good. And I can’t imagine Crowder will love that. Not that I give a **** about his feelings but still. Seems like a dumb move.

The thing Locke keeps hinting at is we may not wait for free agency to add a guy... mentions because of limited selection, contract timing and such that you get what is available... not what you want. Does make me think we might not be looking at 2019.

If we traded for Niko or a guy like Tobias Harris we could also use our MLE without much reservation of trying to keep space for next year.

I prefer Jae off the bench... don't want him hijacking the offense when DM, Ricky, Joe are on the floor.

Niko is really good, but I think we could get him in FA fairly easily... depends on what happens with Cousins.

I really don't think Niko is an improvement over Favors. He brings some different offerings to the table, but I don't think he creates a net improvement. He isn't the missing piece.

If we are going to win a championship, we're going to have to add 2 near 40% 3pt shooters.

That's my opinion but apparently the jazz don't agree.

Why do people insist Niko is really good? What historically is there to show that? I’m legit asking.

Okobo, Brown Jr, and KBD are worth staying in the draft for, imo. Jerome Robinson too. It's good to have rotation players on rookie scale. This is a much better draft than 2016.

If there's a good trade being offered though, you always have to consider that too.

Jazz were +7.5 per 100 possessions when Gobert and Favors were on the floor together last season.

Yes I'm aware and proud of that fact, i'm more pointing to who we could have drafted instead of Bradley.
