Following Potential 2018 Draftees

I'm rooting for Johnny... although Daniel is still really likeable. The scene in the bar where they both go on Facebook to find the girl is great.

The son dynamic with Johnny is a pretty compelling story line.

oh and the cliffhangers at the end was awesome. they reversed a lot of roles too, how Daniel used his money and influence to be an a hole.

He didnt have any hissy fits this year...

I'm aware... doesn't mean it isn't a sign of a potential mental weakness that could resurface. Good for him.

Tbh I don't hate his game or him... at 21 I think there are far better prospects and if you wanted a guy in the combo guard mold I'd take Donte.

In addition to the other stuff... Grayson seems to have stagnated.

I dont think he stagnated, he just changed his role. His 2nd year he was the #1 option and really played amazingly. His 3rd year he just kind of had a bad year and took a back seat as Kennard stepped up. His 4th year he was their best perimeter player again, but their offense changed to play more through their bigs.

And again, Donte played on the most stacked team with the best spacing and best PG in the nation. He is this year's TJ Leaf.

I am ok with that because it then screws Houston too. They will be so far up the luxury tax bunge hole that no licking from CY will make it enjoyable.
Houston is one of the biggest markets in the NBA. I think they will pay it and be fine. They got oil billionaires money.

Donte excelled in the role that is similar to what he will have in the nba... can Allen make that adjustment?

I believe you said you don’t love some of these high usage guys that need to adjust.

Again u guys hitch your wagon to whoever you want... I’m rolling with Donte.

The new owner supposedly has a significant portion of his wealth tied up in the team. I think they pay the tax willingly but not sure they go crazy... so keep Capela but might let Ariza and LMM walk.

Either way I hope a team offers an ugly contract to Capela... matching hurts their flexibility.

I mean, I think they both played about the same role they would in the NBA, Grayson is just going to have to do his off the bench. The difference is Donte was doing his in the perfect system, he really had nothing holding him back. Allen had to play with a lot of freshman and in a more antiquated two true big heavy lineups as well as next to a guard like Duvall who couldnt shoot at all.

Seems like Frankie Vision started posting the video scouting reports. Doncic is first:
