Following Potential 2018 Draftees

Melvin Frazier should be in the workout tomorrow. He is currently in SLC.

Okobo, Simons, and Frazier. 3/6. This could be the most talented workout yet.

Don’t watch many games. What happened at Louisville?

It's the Pitino situation. He was supposed to go to Louisville (got recruited by Mitchell and is friends with him now) but decided to not go after Pitino got canned.

I mean, I think they both played about the same role they would in the NBA, Grayson is just going to have to do his off the bench. The difference is Donte was doing his in the perfect system, he really had nothing holding him back. Allen had to play with a lot of freshman and in a more antiquated two true big heavy lineups as well as next to a guard like Duvall who couldnt shoot at all.

In terms of help, I see what you are saying to a certain degree. However in the Final Four, Donte simply took over. Many times, he did it with Brunson cheering him on from the sidelines. Donte would stop and pop, pull up from three, take guys off the dribble and run the offense. He did have a good supporting cast, but when he took over, he was in a perfect 6th man scoring role which is what we need.

Listen, I really like Donte but it's one game. Who cares? Remember when Burke single-handedly beat Kansas in the tourney. Yep, neither do I.

Burke is a fair example if you are worried, but the Donte D Final 4 performance coming out party was over 2 games. He had an amazing championship, but he also went from 15, 8 and 3 in the semifinal. And I like the manner in which he dominated. He did it on both ends, hit NBA quality step back 3's, and played physical basketball.

At this point I want us to trade up for Troy Brown just to see the reactions.

KDB was my guy, and I still thing he’s a great fit. But I feel like there is a decent chance that the first time he shoots a jumpshot in the NBA it will be super obvious that he’ll never be a reliable shooter.

Seems weird to draft a backup pg when you have two good options in X and Rubio.

Raul Neto was getting minutes at PG in a playoff game. So...
