Following Potential 2018 Draftees

Curious to why KBD seems like he’s dropping a little? Earlier I would have been excited to see him available at 21.

Love Mikal- pure shooter, great length, versatile defender- prettiest jumper in the draft, imo.

Having said that not sure i could pass on okobo at 11. I'd consider okobo as early as 7 and I'd have some reservations about passing on him at 5.

In terms of mocks, Miles might be one of the most overrated in the draft. Probably wouldn't take him at 21.

Bridges, Miles? Hmm....

Wouldn't be surprised if we target Mikal in a trade-up. I remember Tony Jones tweeting last year that the Jazz love Mikal, and I think he's tweeted the same thing this year. Regarding that trade, I didn't realize Marvin is making 14 next year and 15 the year after. Sheesh, Dennis Lindsey is like the only GM that didn't go full dumbass in 2016 free agency.

I think this board is going to be extremely happy if we end up with Okobo.

I really like him because I’d be surprised if he couldn’t give 15 decent offensive minutes as an NBA player. And that’s a floor level projection.

That’s rare where we are drafting.

Well Rodney Hood was decent for a while... wasn't he picked #21?

Anfernee Simons' measurables at the Combine are comparable to John Wall. Wall is a half inch taller, but they have the same wingspan, similar 3/4 court sprint, and Simons's max vert actually came out a couple inches better than Wall's.

Just an example of how good an athlete Simons is.

Are there any players you guys are really interested in for the Jazz at 52? Or in the second round in general? Right now my favorite second round guy is Gary Clark. I like him a lot. I'm also intrigued by Rawle Alkins and Penava. Somewhat intrigued by Wenyen Gabriel just because he's so young still.

It would depend on who drops... kind of hard to predict. I wonder if Isaac Bonga will be there in the second? Arnoldas Kulboka? Metu, Spelman? Vanderbilt? Kevin Harvey? There is a ton of wings that might fall too.
