Following Potential 2025 Draftees

I try not to react at all to measurements, although I do find it useful to compare players that have never shared a court.

The measurements that stood out to me were Philon's wingspan being a little smaller than I expected and Fleming being a giant.

I don’t know if I can take another ****ing chucking guard. Lord save me.

Can we at least get rid of Keyonte please?

Man, I can't imagine how bad we're going to be defensively next year if we add Tre Johnson to our arsenal of guards.

Keyonte, Tre, and Sexton...

To be clear, we should pick Tre, but this is gonna be rough if we do, lol.

Hopefully we trade Sexton anyway though.

ESPN's new mock has the Jazz taking Fears at #5, while Tre Johnson slips to #6.
KOC's new mock has the Jazz taking Kon at #5, while Tre Johnson slips to #6. .

I think the Jazz will consider all kinds of ideas, but it's 80% likely they'll take Tre.

I would be more inclined to trade Key. Tre is just an upgraded version of Key and I don't know what role Key plays if Tre is on the team. Sexton is just the better player and the whole team can't be filled with rookie contract players. Want to keep at least some half way decent veterans on the team just for the culture and work ethic.

I disagree. Just trade all the vets and let the young guys struggle through the extended playing time. Push the window to 2027, open up cap space and look to make opportunistic trades over the next two years to fill those roles. As much as I like Lauri, Sexton and Collins, they have more value as trade chips now instead of long-term fits.
