Following Potential 2025 Draftees

One thing about Flagg is that because he never gets all the way to the rim, he is just extremely inefficient.

Very Scottie Barnes right now where his raw size and ability to dribble and pass allows him to get off a ton of shots, but they aren't really good shots and he lacks the moves or jumpshot to get those good shots currently.

How much he develops his offensive skill set will determine how much better than Scottie Barnes he is.
Yeah I wouldn't go that far just yet. Cuz Scottie Barnes is hell of a player. Someone like Deni Avdija would be a pretty good baseline for him.

So he's an inefficient shooter. He's not inefficient as a scorer or playmaker.
Doesn't true shooting take into account all forms of scoring (free throw, 2 point, 3 point)?

Illinois plays Northwestern on the road.

Georgetown plays West Virginia, which will be Thomas Sorber's best test of the year.

Have not watched a second of Thomas Sorber....but has anyone else checked out his numbers? Sheeeesh.
Yeah, all against mediocre teams, but he's someone to watch. He's playing West Virginia today, so it's a good time to check him out for the first time.

This draft feels like two top tier prospects at the top, then a huge dropoff and then a bunch of good prospects from like 3 to 20.

Obviously time for players other than Harper and Flagg to break out, but 3-5 feels a little weak while 11-20 feels very strong.

Getting a top 2 pick and then getting like the 14th pick from the Wolves would be pretty ideal.

I think there's some drop-off after Flagg, then again after Harper and Bailey, but Tre Johnson and Egor Demin at 4 and 5 are very strong options. I'd be happy anywhere in the top 5....or 6, if people believe in Edgecombe. Then I think there's a drop-off from there. Like, I have no idea how the rest of the lottery would go from there, and there are guys who could be lottery or 20s mixed in.
