Ah, I think we are all getting hung up on the subjective term, "elite". I think a lot of those guys could be the #1 scorer on a good team, but wouldn't argue with you that Ace seems the most likely of being someone who challenges for a scoring title.

If you're looking for a dynamic lead guard and a potential superstar, there's only one option in this draft and that's Edgecomb. He's playing like NCAA ball is a joke to him, which it kinda is. Coasting.
It's almost like the guy was made in a lab to become a star combo guard in the NBA. He's my #1 pick without question.
Flagg is a second or third banana in the League. Any team who takes him before VJ is going to regret it. I would't even pick Flagg in the top 5.

Isnt the conventional wisdom around these parts that you need a top 10 guy to win a title?
My bar for elite isnt necessarily that high... but if I list elite #1 scorers its gotta be guys who can take over playoff series and score despite opponents stacking to stop them. So for guards my list of elite scorers would be like Shai, Luka, Ant, Ja, Brunson, Dame, Steph and Don. Maybe Booker, and I'm probably forgetting someone. All those guys are also great shooters (Shai may not be 3P shooter the others are, but he is a divine midrange shooter).
I think he will be a very good player, and would be happy to have him, despite my doubts that he is HIM.

The Jazz need to be all in on Edgecomb. I don't give a crap how sloppy he looks in a terrible environment like Baylor. The kid has proved he can thrive in a more controlled, high-level game, playing against seasoned pros as a 17 year old.
He also shot a lot better across the board in the Olympic qualifiers.
Again, more than any top prospect in this draft, Edgecomb was born to play in the NBA. He's just wasting time in college.
It's rare to see a kid with otherwordly athleticism who also plays a team game and moves without the ball. Edgecomb is confident and has some bravado, but not to the extent that he becomes a boneheaded chucker who thinks the world revolves around him.

There are 7 or 8 guys near the top of the draft that show at least some All Star potential: Flagg, Bailey, Harper, Demin, Edgecombe, Johnson, Traore and maybe Maluach

I agree with this statement. With that said there is probably 1 to 3 longshots later in the draft who could be Allstars. I wish I knew who they were.
