most are calling him a sg and he's playing mostly sg at rutgers. but it's sorta neither here nor there as most sgs or sfs are just wings anyway these days.I think he is a sf and he has ideal size for that position.

he'll guard 1 through 3. college he's defending 1 through 5 and doing it effectively, but bigs are a different animal in the nba. He's not really playing a position. They're using him as a guy who takes tons of bad/tough shots from all over the court and makes them.
That's nice, but in the NBA he's gonna have to figure out who he's going to guard.
imo, there is still a lot of position oriented bball in college, but i mostly agree. i shouldn't have allowed myself to be sucked in to that.Im still shocked in 2025 we are having discussion about positions for perimeter players in terms of 2/3/4
I like the distinction between Wing and Power WingMotion to change the term for a 4 from “power forward” to “bigger forward”.
They not really alike...If you liked Kyshawn George last year, Miles Byrd is probably a better overall prospect.
I'm watching my first full game of Carter Bryant. Defensively he's probably ready for the NBA, but I think he needs some more time before he can really make an impact on offense, he just needs to develop a little bit more.
I think he's similar to Powell in that he has great size and moves well for his size, but just doesn't look comfortable enough on offense and needs to develop some more skills. They are both dfradtable as decent gambles of developing, but are probably both a year early.
Carter is very active defensively and has great hands defensively. I like him.He had 4 steals, 3 blocks and shot 2/5 on 3s today. He's an athletic 6'7" / 220 lbs with some toughness, defensive versatility and the ability to finish plays. The Jazz need that around two or three offensive stars.
Hit a big and deep three right after I posted thisDemin might finish with zero points today. Has zero right now and the game is nearing its conclusion
