Here is my top-10 big board at the moment with high end outcome player comparisons.
It wouldn't surprise me.
I think there is huge amount of certainty about what Flagg's floor is and the floor is incredibly high... And it's accompanied with really high ceiling too. I don't think you can turn that down. Just think about what you would offer to move to 1 if you got no. 3 this year? Would you offer next year's 1st? What about both MIN picks? What about both CLE picks? What about the PHX pick? Where would you stop? I think I would offer obscene quantity and quality of pick for the relative certainty that Flagg is.
I take Flagg and no. 8. No questions asked. And then I bet it would be much easier to move from 8 to 3 next year than it is to move from any pick to 1 this year.
Moving to both slots would be nearly impossible

I suck at comps, so I think you are brave to include them. I like most of them, but I don't see the Derrick White comp for Jase or the Cason Wallace comp for VJ.
Jase was one of the harder ones. As far as VJ I could see his lower end outcome being a Cason Wallace type of player. Him and Tre I put a lower end outcome along with a really high end one.
Ok, yeah I could see a low end outcome for VJ as a 3&D guard. I don't think he is nearly as good of an on ball defender as Cason is/was, but I can see what you are getting at. He's obviously much more athletic than Cason.

Does homeboy Richie Sanders bubble up to be a late first round/2nd round pick? He;s older but can shoot and make.
Yes, comps are so hard because every single player is different in their own ways.
Embiid has 40 pounds and 2 inches on Queen. He’s also better at defense but that’s who Queen reminds me of offensively.
Also, Cy’s question is interesting but the logical choice is Flagg and whoever next year.
I think a harder question would be you get Harper this year and a top-3 pick next year or Flagg and like the 6th pick next year.
