Tony is probably right yet again…dumb for tony to make that call right now and dumb for anybody to put any stock in it right now. even if he has some inside knowledge, too much changes over the next month and a half.

Was it Tony Jones who was hyping up Tre Johnson ages ago? Looks like that was a solid call.Tony is probably right yet again…

That last pass was Joker esque. His teammate let him down. Not getting as many touches as he should've.
Me too. I definitely want at least two guys from this draft - plus a couple of draft and stash guys in the 2nd round.I like so many dudes in this class.
Sure but with a player as young as Yang we can't rule anything out. He's definitely got the skillset to play the 4 compared to someone like Maluach. Maybe he work on his body and outside shot to acquire that positional flexibility. The point is for us as jazzfans who want Yang to work out on the Jazz, he kinda has to be able to play the 4 since we know Kessler is not going anywhere. And a "backup center" isn't exactly the term that would get any jazzfans excited.
If people are going to give Fears the benefit of the doubt for being 18 y.o., they need to do the same for Essengue. What happens if his body fills out and he grows to a bonafide 6'10"? What happens if he improves his handle? He really could enter AK territory in some respects.
We simply need to find a way to get Essengue.
I’m completely sold on him.
We do have this pick at #5, I'm just sayin.....
I think the Jazz will still take Tre Johnson at #5. If Tre isn't available though, it's reasonable to compare Ace to Noa. Ace might be a brilliant, knock-down shooter, but you can see below some of Noa's all-around game as an 18 y.o. in an adult league-- Playmaking at 7:39 and Defense at 10:20..

I believe in his shot, even if the percentage isn’t there now.
The play making really surprised me. He has a really great feel for the game and angles.
He has some “freak” potential in him and I would take that gamble.
I like him, but I think I like Carter Bryant and Rasheer Fleming more. He’s up there with my top hopeful targets with the 2nd pick.He moves and reacts exceptionally well on defense. He has some plays that look like Kirilenko, where he comes out of nowhere and intercepts a pass with perfect timing.
