Following Potential 2026 Draftees

The draft gets a bit tricky for the Jazz if they're picking in the 6 - 8 range. Ament is probably still the favorite to go #5 due to his high ceiling. The guys in the 6 - 8 range look to be mostly guards.

I wish Tounde was a bit more explosive, had a tighter handle and was a more natural passer off the dribble. I love the physical profile, but his guard skills appear to be fairly middling at the moment.

Ament has been mostly disappointing. I think he could eventually be really good, but I'm not interested in drafting a project in the 6-8 range.

Philon is pretty firmly at 5 for me right now, I'm not sure how someone wouldn't be impressed with what he has done so far this year. After that there are a bunch of very interesting players and I'm just waiting for things to shake out. Flemings, Brown Jr, Steinbach, Quaintence, Carr, etc. are all in the mix.

Please explain why Ament has a high ceiling. He's the definition of a late lottery, late teens prospect

If Steinbach measures up to Senguin when they do the measurements, I think he's an easy choice at 5 for a lot of teams. I'd still probably go Carr for the Jazz.

But I also love Keaton Wagler. Would be a great fit next to Keyonte/Ace. He legitimately plays PG for Illinois as a Freshman 6'7 wing. He can do everything on the court. He's not a bad defender, he just needs to get stronger.

Is Fleming a true dog on the defensive end or is he just a steals guy? Stats are great, but I haven't really watched Houston live all year
