Following Potential 2026 Draftees

This is Tounde Yessoufou yesterday. He might enter into the discussion if the top 6 or 7 guys are off the board, imo. He's just a proven archetype with a bit of upside. I'm assuming he's not already like 29 y.o....

I am on Yessoufou island also. I just like his fit in utah. Only 1 ball we need someone to do the other things.

Lauri
George
Bailey
Sensabaugh

Are going to take their shots.

I like his potential but I have him more in the 12 to 20 range.

It's been an epic day of college basketball, perfect time for a super slow Saturday for me. I got to watch parts of Duke, UCONN, Louisville, Illinois, and BYU. Just a ton of great performances and we're not done yet. I'll have some more thoughts later, but Brown Jr looked really good.
Alright here's some quick draft prospects thoughts from all the college ball I got to watch yesterday:

Boozer is a ball magnet. He never looks like he's working that hard to get the ball, but it finds him anyway. The comp I kept thinking of when I watched him (I'm horrible at comps) is Pau Gasol. He's a rare combination of power and skill.

Nothing new on Mullins, but I continue to think he's going to struggle with strength in the NBA, but he's a pure shooter. He got hurt so only played the first half. He should maybe stay another year?

I was watching Wagler and Brown Jr side by side and it was petty interesting. Obviously Wagler had an all time great game, but Brown was very good too. Brown just looks like an NBA point guard. He's got size, fluidity, athleticism, and just looks super comfortable with the ball in his hands. I'm not sure how big of a deal it is to look the part, but he has me impressed. Wagler on the other hand is not a athletic, but just produced. His team was struggling and he just took over. He always looks under control on his shots. I think he can play on or off ball, which is always a nice skill for the NBA.

No new notes on Dybantsa. He's just an extremely fluid athlete for his size, he just looks too good for college, which is the best sign there is.

Sensabaugh's lack of defense probably makes him an off-the-bench guy on a serious team. Think Norm Powell with the Raptors and Clippers.

At some point, the Jazz need to add some toughness, physicality and on-ball defense. Cody and Ace should be able to play solid, switchable positional defense.
