Following Potential 2026 Draftees

Don’t see much athleticism compared to say the elite players in the league.
Could be that you are blind then. He is just so smooth and effortless (like T-mac) that his athleticism doesn't pop.
Watch the first bit of this video. Doesn't get much more athletic than this. Pay special attention to the 4th and 5th dunks in the video. Head above rim. The last 2 dunks in the video highlights elite athleticism as well. Dude just finished high school.

AJ has the whole bag on offense. We need to get him in the draft next year somehow. The basketball gods need to finally shine on the jazz in the lottery.

Dybantsa’s body, though in better shape, and the way he moves reminds me of Jabari Parker. I don’t love him tbh. Don’t see much athleticism compared to say the elite players in the league.

Give me the Kansas kid.
I don’t want to be premature but I don’t really like Dybantsa. Players that big aren’t supposed to be quick so I’m probably overreacting, but he doesn’t strike me as particularly quick. I think Ace looks substantially better at the same level of competition, just as a comparison. Maybe he’s crafty and strong enough to effectively bully or maybe I’m off my rocker. I’m probably off my rocker.

He’s also super corny.

I agree that he isn't super quick. I also dont see him finish with his left hand much.
He is big and strong with a great handle and a great stroke though. Good passer with good vision. Elite athletic. Coming out of high school that is kind of how I might have described Lebron though Lebron was quicker and not as big and strong and AJ has a better stroke.
He is going to be amazing.

Went and watched some lebron high school highlights. Lebron definitely quicker. Similar in how high they can jump though I give the edge to lebron. Like AJ's shot better. Both with really good handles.
AJ looks much bigger than lebron to me in the videos. So I tried to use google to see how big lebron was in high school. Everything I find says 240-250 lbs. That cant be right. AJ is listed at 210 and definitely looks bigger than Lebron did to me.

Well, doing some simple math here, in order to guarantee a top 8 pick in the lottery, the Jazz need to finish no higher than 4th from the bottom. If we look at this year as an example, the Pels finished with the 4th-worst record at 21 wins. Given the sheer strength of this next draft class, the Jazz really can't plan on winning more than 20 games this year.

Expect another 16 - 20-win season (5 losses for every win).

Gonna be tough to do it again if we dont offload the vets. Gotta find some trades.

It's crazy Arenas' Cybertruck suppsoidly malfunctioned and he wrecked.

It's also crazy Cayden Boozer isn't showing up on some 2026 mocks.

I think the tanking will be more competitive for this draft - Washington won't make the same mistake again!

Assuming we want to develop Ace properly and perhaps showcase Lauri in the best light, we’re going to play hard. How many losses does moving on from Collins, Sexton, and Clarkson amount to? (Actually maybe keeping Clarkson helps the tank)

Yeah, I suppose that’s what I meant by athleticism. He does seem to use girth a lot to me.

Ok.

I just checked the box scores (this was their second game) and it looks like Koa Peat and Dybantsa have been scoring as well.

They other guy that stands out in the box score is Jordan Smith Jr. He's had 8 stls and 4 blocks in their two games. Looks like he is a 2027 draft guy.
