Following Potential 2026 Draftees

It looks like Dash's team, Melbourne, will be playing the Pelicans in Melbourne on October 3rd. It will be interesting to see Fears vs Dash for portions of the game.

At the moment, I'd put the top 5 as:
1) Peterson
2) Dybantsa
3) Boozer
4) Ament
5) Tounde
Then Lopez & Cenac at 6 & 7.
Then Mikel Brown at about 8.
Caleb Wilson at UNC is a wildcard.

The Sixers are in a tenuous situation this season, as their injury problems from last season seem to be carrying over. Neither Embiid nor PG are going to be ready to start the season, and McCain could be out for a while with a hand injury. The Thunder own the Sixers FRP, only top-4 protected this year.

Fears and Dash Daniels sharing a court right now.
- Dash looks like he's going to be a very versatile defender. He isn't involved in the offense at all.
- Fears can't make a shot and has made some bad decisions.

Fears - 22min, 7pts/3re/3ast/5to 3 for15 from the field
Daniels - 27min, 11pt/6reb/1ast/1stl 5 for 10 from the field

I like Dash, he looks more like an elite role player than a star, but I think he will be a good NBA player.

I know that the Pelicans have no reason to try and be bad, but if Zion or Murphy III are out for any lengthy period of time, they could have the worst record in the NBA.

I have the Pels as 13th in the West. Zion + Murphy + Jones + Poole + their centers should be enough to win at least 31 or 32 games. Pels and Suns are probably the 13th and 14th teams in the West just above the Jazz.
