The one guy that's probably dropped a little on our Jazz big board after the JJJ trade is Caleb Wilson.

Not sure about that. You can probably play JJJ at the 5 if you've got Wilson at the 4.

JJJ is not a 5. Memphis tried that and it was disastrous.

Wagler would be a great fit, but I think I still prefer the theoretical fit of Flemings for our roster. Flemings is the better perimeter defender and playmaker, which is what we really need.

I agree. Too much focus right now on offense. We will be awesome offensively regardless.

What we need is a Kris Dunn 2.0 so the top 2 in my wishlist right now is probably DP and Flemings (albeit I would struggle to go with Flemings if Wagler was still on the board).

#1 Take DP and run
#2-3 (assuming #1 is DP) Trade down to 4-7 range if possible to get good assets from a trash franchise. If not then pick either one of AJ or Boozer and roll with it.
#4--> the progression goes: Flemings, Wagler, Philon

Don't think you can. You need a space eater to rebound. Wilson is a very good rebounder, but he's not a space eater.

I just don't think he's that good to be in the Jazz pick range. Mediocre defender and mediocre measurements. I'd rather just trade the pick for another win now piece than take Philon.

He was one of the better perimeter defenders in the country last year, I'll admit to being a little disappointed this year.

Still, I think the best predictor of success is being an outlier on production as a young player, and he's been top four in production this year from the Freshman/Sophomores.
