Following Potential Draftees - 2019 (not kidding)

I was thinking about this earlier. I think it's better he's slimmer as he's dealing with the injury. Some article I read made it sound bad and stated he needs to weigh more as to not get pushed around.

Yeah, article - but he's rehabbing an injury. And if he weighed 20 pounds more he can get there again. It would be interesting if he was there at 23. The dude can play. I see him as a rich man's Thon Maker.
Bruh, the only similarity to Thon Maker is being a tall African. Very racialist comp.

Bol Bol is an offensive savant. It's legitimate hyper skill offensively. He's a trash defender who cant move his feet well, is way too skinny to defend or rebound well against physicality, and had a major foot injury.

Thon Maker is just some reasonably athletic tall person who is mediocre at everything.

To call my comparison 'racialist' is absolute stupidity and I've lost the last shred of respect I had for you.

But since you decided to call my comparison 'racislist' I'll give you some facts:

Thon is 7'1 and Bol is 7'2
Thon weighs 221 lbs and Bol Bol currently weighs less. They have similar body types, lack of strength and durability concerns. Give a list of 7'0+ players who weigh 220 and shoot threes. The closest comparison would be guys who are roughly twenty pounds heavier.

Also, to call Bol a trash defender makes zero sense. Have you watched him play?

Yeah - the guy might get pushed around by a heavier center but his length, athleticism and timing will cause most players to alter their shot. If Manute could play during the 1980s-1990s at 200 lbs. during a time when the game was more physical then his son will be just fine, and if people want to knock Bol Bol around and put him at the FT line they can. Just not a good idea as he shoots 75% from the line.

LMAO.

Bruh I'm just calling it how it is. Be mad at yourself for making a lazy comp.

Yeah, he's soft as hell on D, puts in low effort, can't move his feet on the perimeter, and has poor awareness.

He can block shots from help D, but that's his only real positive attribute on D.

I still like Talen Horton-Tucker and think he can play next to Mitchell, but I'm not sure if he's on the Jazz's radar or not. He sees himself as a big guard. He's 6'4", but with a 7'1.25" wingspan, he has the length of a full-sized PF.

Thoughts on the idea of drafting Grant Williams from Tennessee? He'd be a little bit undersized at the 4. A small ball 4 at 6'7 1/2 with a 6'9 3/4 wingspan. But he was a highly productive player in college, especially on the offensive end. He's shown flashes of being able to shoot all the way out to 3. And he's a great passer for his size. In a scenario where the Jazz decided to pull the trigger on the idea of playing Donovan at the point guys who could be secondary ball handlers and passers like he could be would be valuable.

I think he's an early 2nd-round pick. There are several guys I'd take ahead of him who are more natural scorers at the wing.

I still like him too. I believe he may have the highest ceiling of the players likely to still be there at 23. His measurements alone could create matchup nightmares for opponents on both ends of the floor.
Now if only he could stop with the shoplifting (see under pick 22):
