Following Potential Draftees - 2019 (not kidding)

Seems to me that Miami might sell their pick if they can shed some salary so they can avoid the luxury.

#13 and Olynyk
for
#23 and Korver

Saves Miami over $10 million.

If we waive Favors, we still have enough money for a Russell max. If we absolutely knew Russell was coming, Olynyk and a 1st would be so awesome.

Korver only counts as 3.4M in salary unless you wait until FA that deal cant happen.

I wonder if Ty Jerome could be the pick. Great shooter, super high IQ, Jazz DNA™, Jazz think he's a point guard, great intangibles, winner at every level, a bit Brogdon-esque and the Jazz really liked him in the 2016 draft, one of the best pick and roll passers in the draft, Friends With Donovan Mitchell™

Everyone is friends with DM... dude gonna be president someday.

Not sure if this has already been mentioned but Tony Jones said yesterday during his Q and A on 'The Athletic' as well as on the Bill Riley show that Carsen Edwards probably had the most impressive workout so far.

Jazz need to draft for athleticism more than they do for shooting, so it's a big no for me on Jerome.

Wouldn't hate the Edwards pick, but I'd rather the Jazz get someone more defensively versatile.

Jordan Bone is a guy I'd like in the 2nd if we don't go guard in the 1st. Absolutely crushed the combine workouts, had a solid season last year, and seems to be on an upwards trajectory.

Not to beat a dead horse, but how many NBA players have a negative wingspan and below average athleticism? Only the best can play in the NBA.
