Following Potential Draftees - 2019 (not kidding)

Good thing DL traded up and took Bradley so the Spurs could look great again.

Thomas Bryant also being better than Bradley really adds insult to injury there... white would look so good for us right now.

I'm very interested to see how Talen Horton-Tucker measures out. Talent-wise, I think he's better than both the Tennessee guys. He'd probably need to play at the 3 with some switchability on defense.

The modern game asks players to do everything. They have to hit 3s, they have to attack closeouts, they have to create off the dribble, they have to finish at the rim, they have to guard 3 positions. THT can likely do those things, but he's not a guard. He needs to be 6'5" at least and play at the wing. The super throwback comp for him would be a player like Mark Aguirre, imo.

I think Admiral Schofield fits our team's profile perfectly. He seems like a future Jae Crowder type. Hard worker, coaches love him, big, strong, can shoot the 3.

"Admiral Schofield | Tennessee | Sr | SG | 6-6

Schofield was just a 3-star prospect coming out of high school -- a 6-5 forward from Illinois who wasn't even considered a top-250 recruit in the Class of 2015, according to 247Sports. Now he's 6-6 with a sculpted body and reputation for being a tireless worker who is loved by his coaches, all of which helped him average 16.5 points and 6.1 rebounds this season for a Tennessee team that spent four weeks ranked No. 1. The fact that Schofield made more than 40 percent of 393 3-point attempts in the past three seasons suggests he'll be a real threat from the perimeter when he gets to the NBA."

Wasn't that impressed with THT from that highlight video, he has length but everyone at the next level has strength, which he somewhat relies on. He's longer, but I see him similar to NWG

I like THT. He's raw, but he's still very young and there is potential there. He will not contribute right away, but he has interesting physical attributes and may turn out to be a diamond in the rough.

Another guy I really like is Matisse Thybulle. He's billed as the best defender in college basketball. That reputation was earned in a system of zone defence, so there's no guarantee that it will translate perfectly to the NBA, but he has the attributes and instincts. Comes up with a lot of steals and blocks and doesn'f foul much. Quin should like that. His 3pt shooting wasn't great this year but over his entire college career was decent enough. Could become a good 3 and D guy and you can never have enough of those.

Funny you should say that. Nba draftnet listed his NBA comparison as...Jae Crowder!
