Yall aint tired of his shtick yet?
Mock also means to imitate. Words have more than one meaning. When people say mock draft, it means that this is how the draft should go, taking into consideration everything, including Lavar Ball. Yours is a big board because, it's based on the talent and potential level of the players.
Hope this helps you not being so ****ing insecure next time.
Wonder how much higher Carsen Edwards would be mocked if he was 6'2" with the exact same wingspan and standing reach he has now. Wonder if people are scared off solely from his sub 6'0" height without shoes. Was in the 95th percentile in off the dribble jumpers as a soph (can't find the numbers for last year). Shooting 3s off the dribble is so valuable now.
Edwards shot 36.4% from NBA 3 on 313 attempts, and 47.4% of his 3s were assisted.
For comparison, Tyler Herro shot 31.8% on NBA 3s on 113 attempts, and 81.7% of his 3s were assisted.
Ty Jerome: 40.6% on NBA 3s on 138 attempts, and 68.4% of his 3s were assisted.
Dylan Windler: 47.8% on NBA 3s on 23 attempts, and 88% of his 3s were assisted.
Cameron Johnson: 46.3% on NBA 3s on 162 attempts and 92.7% of his 3s were assisted.
Carsen Edwards should be the pick. 6 foot, 6'6" wingspan, solid 200 pounds.Wonder how much higher Carsen Edwards would be mocked if he was 6'2" with the exact same wingspan and standing reach he has now. I do put some faith in that stat. Any chance you can look up Trey Burke's percentage of assisted 3s in college?
54.4% freshman year, 48.7% soph year.
I want to trade up to get Rui, Clarke or Doumboya but I think Carsen is going to be a quality offensive NBA player.I’m sorry, but I don’t see a Jazz player in Edwards. He’s a SG in a (small) PG’s body. He’s inefficient, can’t create for others and is a liability on defense. I’d rather have Ty Jerome despite his shortcomings.
Ofcourse my opinion means he’ll probably turn out the next Lou Williams...
Ah, very similar. So outside of volume, there's not much evidence Carson will be a better shooter than Burke.
Better athlete, can get his shot off much more easily.Ah, very similar. So outside of volume, there's not much evidence Carson will be a better shooter than Burke.
