Pretty sure the only poster who has made definitive statements about Exum busting is AKMVP. Other people may have said "bust potential", but I'm pretty sure almost no one besides AKMVP has declared him a bust.

It's cute to see Vermin and NAOS be ******* buddies together though.

Also, cant believe how much fun everyone looks like they are having. It is so fun to watch good basketball. 3 preseason games in and I've already drunk all the Snyder Kool Aid. I think I said the Jazz would win 26ish games this year... ask me now and I think it'd be around 36ish.... in a few weeks I'll likely pick us to go undefeated.

But yeah, y'all can probably mark me down as someone who doesn't see a lot of "superstar" ability, meaning I don't see him ever scoring 25+ ppg or being considered a top 10 player. I think he can be very good given his natural vision and IQ, but not seeing the necessary shot creation skills to be a top 10 player as of right now.

Could that change? No ****, and I will be ecstatic if it happens.

Projecting talent is a case-by-case game.

There were 2 NCAA seasons for Trey.
There was nothing for Dante.

There was a full season of NBA play for Trey.
There's been 3 preseason games for Dante.

To act like everything is basically equal as far as jazzfanz projections.... is to act like a gawdamn moran.

I am not sure why there is a concern with Exum, his numbers are pretty close to all those around him considering the extra experience they have.

Again, I don't think anyone is that concerned with Exum, we understand he is very inexperienced and young and will improve tremendously. It's just puzzling that he has gone away from what was reported to be one of his biggest offensive strengths and embraced what was reported to be his biggest offensive weakness, which is cool if that means he comes back next year way stronger and attacks the rim and has a 3pt shot.

I just want to see him try to get to the rim and finish though. Hard to get better at something if you don't practice it in the games.

All I was saying is that people try to predict how players will turn out all the time. I dint think it's something to get so upset about.

I wonder if you ever talked about what type of nba player you thought Anthony Bennett would be before he was drafted.
