A top 5 team in the west and a contender are 2 very different things.

Why do you post stupid things? The rockets tanked hard to get some nice pieces and then the goal turned to getting competitive so that the picks and swaps going to the thunder weren't nets esque. They have an amazing stable of young pieces to build around plus the suns future picks and the last nets swap. Don't make the same mistake you did before last season when you had a hissy fit when I had the thunder projected to finish 2nd in the west and you were saying no way they would be better than the jazz.
 
Pretty impressive to see what the thunder, rockets and griz have done so far this year even with a bunch of injuries. That is a scary top 3 right there going forward.
