Coastal areas are already being battered heavily, and we're still hours from landfall. This does seem like the most serious hurricane we've had in a while.

Honestly, I'd guess it's only rained about an inch and a half so far. The rain hasn't been too bad. But it will be. As will the winds which will kick up another 30-40 mph. And once high tide hits. Oh boy. Thank God I live three miles from the beach.
