This is who I want to insure the SF position(more than Al Farouq Aminu now that Bookers signed). He just turned 24, is a good defender(Steals and Blocks) and looks much more polished than when he was on UCLA/The Kings. He shot 34% from 3 on 4 attempts per in Israel last year.

The Jazz worked him out in late May.

Not a shooter.

So yeah, again, just not gonna fit in Quinn's new offensive system. Sorry.

Im not buying that argument, why were the Jazz not bidding on Anthony Morrow then? he cost 3 mil a year and is a known commodity. Kent Bazemore is 25, long and athletic and shot 37% from 3, he cost 2 mil. Jordan Farmar shot 44% from 3 and cost 2 mil a year.

I dont think the Jazz have waited this long to say, 'ok now im only taking shooters'

Honeycutt is at the very least a servicable shooter from 3, theres a reason he gets so many attempts, like I said he shot 43% from 3 on over 5 attempts in the playoffs.

What about Michael Beasley then? he fits the criteria, he shot 50% from the field and 39% from 3, 77% from the line and like Honeycutt he gets rebounds steals and blocks.

Id rather have Honeycutt who will appreciate the roster spot and wait for his time to get minutes, than a Francisco Garcia, vet type whos looking to preserve his career.

We don't know we're bidding on Morrow though. The Lakers obviously have an inside track to Farmar since he used to play there and with Kobe, etc. Beasley obviously there is an attitude issue there. Bazemore I don't know what's the story with him.

Again, I'm not buying Honeycutt's 3pt % if it's not the NBA 3pt line.

If you need a dead eye shooter at SF, Novak can be moved there, he defends SF's just as poorly as he does PF's.

Hayward hopefully can shoot and play SF, Hood's specialty is shooting, If the Jazz are to go after another SF why does he need to be a shooter also??
