What's new

Free Alec Burks

I'm a huge Burks fan, but sheesh, Foye played extremely well in the 2nd half. Though I do think he should get minutes over Carroll, but Carroll also provided energy.

Burks will get his minutes, it's a long season.

Not Foye, Tinsley. That is the problem.

Yeah, I can see that. I guess old habits, at least in terms of coaches wanting a traditional PG on the floor, are hard to break. Still, I find it hard to fault a coach too much about player rotations when a team wins a game by 20 points.

Today's game doesn't matter. Only the future matters.

I think the Jazz made a mistake signing Foye. If he were a true point guard, I could understand. But he's not as good as Burks and he's taking minutes away from Burks. Does the Jazz brass see this as most everyone on this board does. I wonder what their thinking is about keeping Burks back like this.

I am physically upset right now 2 ****ing minutes, that is messed up!!

This is complete bull ****!!!

Burks deserve so much more than this!!

He had as many minutes as Evans and our rookie, I'm so pissed I can't think of his name!!

I've never been this upset after a Jazz win...

All of you.... one game, which by the way, I think we won...kindly shut the **** up..you have all season to show how smart you...

I'm perfectly fine with the playing time Burks got. The Jazz won. Burks is a selfish chucker from everything I've ever seen.

I am worried about Burks also. Unlike Kanter and Favors, who are guaranteed to get heavy minutes next year, there is no such light at the end of the tunnel for Burks. He has a journeyman shooting guard playing over him as well as a D-League hustler - who would not even be in the league if it weren't for the Jazz. What kind of message is this sending to Burks? The 12th pick in the 2011 draft? The problem is the Jazz don't need Burks - they are that good, and Corbin will be oblivious to this as long as the Jazz are looking OK and winning some games. Hopefully it doesn't come to Burks asking for a trade, he is oozing with talent.
