G League Chit 2025

There was a GLeague signing that intrigued me today. The Pistons GLeague team signed Colby Jones who was a high 2nd round pick for the Kings in 2023. He had some solid outings for the Kings and their GLeague team. He ended with up the Wiz late last season and averaged 8.7 ppg for them coming off the bench in 16 games. He was traded for Dillon Jones in the off season and both guys got waived. The guy is a 2-3 and might be worth a kick of the tires.

I was thinking about this the other day: With Keyonte setting himself up to get paid, it would be really helpful to lock in some cheap longterm contracts. This roster is going to get expensive quickly and having a guy like Harkless on a 3 year minimum could be important soonish.
 
The Bad News Stars get thoroughly whipped by the Blazer JVs. Former first round pick Dillon Jones had a triple double for the Blazer JVs. Harkless and Tonje were horrible tonight. The best player on the floor tonight was Blake Hinson who was an undrafted free agent out of Pitt and had 35 points 9 boards. Sean East II put up 25 for the Stars. I'm not sure that Oscar would have helped the Stars tonight.
