2026 first round draft pick to Oklahoma City
Utah's 2026 1st round pick to Oklahoma City protected for selections 1-8 (if this pick falls within its protected range and is therefore not conveyed, then Utah's obligation to Oklahoma City will be extinguished) [Oklahoma City-Utah, 7/30/2021; Oklahoma City-Utah, 1/4/2022]

This is what realgm.com says (and you, which I also thought was the case). I've always found their future draft pick page (https://basketball.realgm.com/nba/draft/future_drafts/detailed) to be very good and accurate.
I think the second date there at the end is the Miye Oni trade date. That supports the conversion was in the original trade but was later removed from it.

I do sometimes use that page but their content layout and page design are tragic (albeit I now notice they have added mobile friendly UI support).

Have not heard any latest info on his whereabouts
Seems like right now Jazz might not have a spot on their 15 man roster for him
Maybe his is not good enough yet to bring over

Had an injury-troubled season, better to leave him where he is for another season and see whether he's the same player.

Jazz may not have a roster spot for him this season
Maybe they told him to take best contract he can find in Europe
this season doesn't make sense for a few reasons, imo. Next year or the year after would be fine. He's in a good spot for his development anyway.

From Hoopsrumors: "
  • Italian wing Gabriele Procida, the No. 36 overall pick in the 2022 draft whose NBA rights are held by the Jazz, has officially signed a three-year contract with Real Madrid, the Spanish club announced in a press release. Procida is still just 23 years old and remains a candidate to come stateside at some point, so it’s worth noting that his new deal includes NBA outs in both 2026 and 2027, as Donatas Urbonas of BasketNews.com reports.
"

That sounds about right. Jazz are fine letting him get some more seasoning over in Europe and I’m sure they’re in communication with his reps about the buyout measures. Seems like a decent step up for him to prove he’s NBA caliber. Hopefully he blows up and it becomes an obvious decision in the next two offseasons.

I saw a blurb on hoops rumors that the TWolves 2nd round pick was a teammate of Procida;s at Alba Berlin is staying in Germany. The two's stats were virtually identical this season.

2 seasons ago he was great, this past season was a bit of a letdown. I’m looking to see how he does with his new team. Was it just a down year or a trend. If he bounced back strong against better competition, I predict the Jazz bring him over next offseason.
