Game #10 : Lakers at Utah, Wednesday 01/11/2012 7:00 PM MST

Jazz are a far different team then opening night against them. Let's hope Kobe has cooled off and is tired from tonight.

Yeah, but the length of Gasol and Bynum are enough to make us revert back to our old ways (taking too many jump shots, not rebounding, not playing defense, long droughts of points).

If we beat them what happens? Justification of my prediction of a Laker Lottery? That team is weak. Ours just isn't quite in rhythm yet. It is true that with Bynum, Gasol and Kobe they are favorites but those guys know they wont win it all.

Their GM will declare at least one of those superstars on the DL before the season is out probably 2. LA gets a nice pick and whoopla after one bad season we see whoever they pick to be the next big thing.

I love your pic but Odom is a Mav. Ariza is a Hornet.

Please try to make relevant yet funny posts. That one gets an F.

In order to win this game we will have to:

1. Hit at least 75% of our FT attempts
2. Keep the Lakers off the offensive glass
3. Keep TO's under 15
4. Devin Harris play well

Not bad. I was thinking...

1. Average or slightly above average three point shooting...36%+...need to keep them honest...and we can't shoot our self out of the game.
2. Keeping each of our bigs out of foul trouble (that would limit their minutes)
3. Minimize turnovers
4. Stay within 5 free throw attempts if LA

Shocking that Big Al is at 51.5% on the season considering his first game against LA he shot 2-16. If we take out that first game, he's at 56.77% the rest of the season. Of course that's against a lot of cream puffs but still. Even 51.5% is above his career high. I hope he attacks the rim, trying to draw fouls tonight, and is very selective otherwise, kicking it out more often if he has nothing. Quite simply, I don't want him settling for jumpers or his shot put shot. I'd like to see a lot of Burks and Howard tonight as well.

I just can't wait for the Lakers parade to the free throw line. It seems that every time we play them they shoot 15-20 more free throws then we do. Usually they make more than we attempt. The first game this year they shot 37 and we shot 17. It's gotta be nice having Stern on your side.
