Game 11: Jazz vs. Mavericks

That number won't hold, but I would still do the trade.

It might actually get even better though with better developmental coaches, better teammates, and better offensive schemes and more open looks.(on the jazz)

Wonder what Rubio’s leash is.

Lots of guards playing well, and not exactly the ‘long term’ play, he’s the opposite in fact.

Rubio does what Quin wants and he trust him. Like I've said 100 times, Rubio's potential outcome is better than any of the other guards. He also has a penchant for making big hustle plays late in games.

Rubio played great tonight, he just missed shots. The only time I really was disappointed in Rubio was when they did an ISO for him on a DeAndre switch.

Honestly, our best line-up would be Mitchell at the point, Burks at the 2, Royce at the 3, Crowder at the 4 and Gobert at the 5. So much space and athleticism.
Nah, it really wouldn't. I dont care how big of a slump Joe is in, he is an integral part of the team playing well.

I think Burks should be playing more, but I don't think he is someone I really trust as a closing lineup type player.

I mean, I didn’t say he was trash just wondering what his leash is.

I agree with most everything you said. But eventually you have to be able to put the ball in the hoop, and he just can’t do it right now.

Burks and Exum combined 8-13 from the field, 5-7 from 3, 2 blocks, zero turnovers, 27 points in 26 minutes.

They should have played more.

Rubio played 37 ****ing minutes

Coach's "leashes" are more to do with mental mistakes or not doing what they are asked than it does with missing shots.

Rubio's lack of shooting can also bring the offense to a halt. The shooting is a problem. The last 3 games he's 7/33 and 2/13 from 3-pt. that's like 20% range. Frigid.

I think you are allowed 6. Could be wrong though. (Rubio had 5 fouls fwiw)
Rubio had 5 in 37 minutes man.

If Exum played 37 minutes he would have had 13 fouls. You can't just keep a guy in if he is putting the other team in the bonus simply by being on the court.

I can go with Joe. Thing is, he really does only 2 things--he either spots up for 3, or he runs a high screen-and-roll with Gobert. He doesn't make mistakes, but there's not a ton of upside there if he's not stroking it.

Quin wants him to shoot his way out of it. He even called that last ISO play for Rubio to shoot it when the game was decided.

I mean dude (Cy) said Rubio is better than Rose, currently and we see how well Rose is playing compared to Rubio. One day you have to take off them homer glasses and just see it how it is... Rubio is having a turrible year. I think you can agree with me on that.
