Evans offensive efficiency numbers are so high (over 150 points per 100 possessions) that it completely outweighs the reduction he gets from minutes. Without the minute reduction, he is a +50.
He started at +5 this season and has been steadily dropping as he logs DNPs and low minutes. The fact that he is a contributor at +1 speaks about how poor the rest of the team is. Good teams, see the Nuggets, have several players at +4 or +3.
