The other part of it is that he has the ball all the time, so his bad play is going to be magnified because of that. And the third part is that Exum is behind him, and many want to see what the #5 pick in the draft just a few years ago can do when he's healthy, for like damn near the first time ever, over a season.
Personally I try not to rip on Rubio too much, but damn he makes some passes that are just brutally awful at times. When he plays under more control I really have no major issues with him. I know/accept he's not a knock down shooter.

If we can just survive the next few weeks we'll be okay. These wins remind us that we have the talent to be elite. We just aren't there yet.

I'm just glad we won. This team has potential to win a playoff series. We need that level of success at the bare minimum to keep building towards something bigger through summer acquisitions.
Whether I believe Rubio should start for us after this season or not, I'm proud of the way he played tonight. Big win. Keep it up. Go Jazz.

I'm a big Rubio fan but I'm the first to admit his start to the season has been as awful as it gets. It's a mistery why season after season he starts awful and finishes great. I hoped this time around it would be different but no.
