Kanter is having a GREAT game. He's been looking so good. I love his footwork in the post. He will never be a plus defender, but he's playing his heart out and trying to get better on both sides of the floor.
 
The Kanter man playing well. Good presence of mind where the shot blockers are, and now understands how to bully them out of his way.
 
One thing I'm wondering watching this game is whether shot blocking has a big effect on rebounding. A couple of the best shot blockers in the league in Gobert and Davis in the game, but there have been a LOT of offensive boards and putbacks.

Just a thought lingering in the back of my mind. When shot blockers contest shots it just seems to put them out of position for the boards a lot.
