Game #27 Utah Jazz at Jernigan Magic, 5 pm mtn

I just realized that Ingles did not play. Is he hurt? I would rather see Hood get most of his minutes.

Played 3 mins. I didn't record the game (family actually allowed me to watch it live), but there was a play in which he kind of stumbled in the lane. I'm wondering if he maybe stepped on someone's foot. Will rep if anyone can go back and watch it and comment.

LOL!
I was actually thinking the same thing a couple of times in the game. Another stellar shooting performance (5-15). Sorry, but the Burke homers cannot continue to blame it on having to launch up contested shots to beat the clock.

Just imagine how good Utah could be if we switched PG's with any other team in the league!

The only Burke homer I can think of is Dalamon.

The Jazz could really use a dedicated knock-down shooter. It's just such a luxury when guys like Hayward and Kanter can run an action and a shooter like Ray Allen, Klay Thompson or Kyle Korver just curls around and scores with a quick release. That's what the Jazz are missing, that guy who can just rise up at any time and knock down a jumper. Then a few of their plays would be just about unguardable. As it is now, a long jumper from most of our guys is considered a bad shot.
Has to come from either moving Burks to the bench or having a Derek Fisher-type PG. If a wing, we may have that player in Rodney Hood. If it weren't for my open love affair with Gobert, Hood would be my favorite. He has such a sweet stroke!

People always talk about his stroke (which is great), but what struck me about him is his explosive speed when he has the ball. Really unexpected.

That sprite center court sleepover seems like the worst thing ever. Who wants to sleep on a basketball court with a bunch of dudes. What about when they all wake up with morning wood? Terrible.

No doubt. I think we all considered him just a corner-3 type player. But at times he just blows by his man. Didn't he have one of those tonight, when he dished the ball to Favors for a dunk?

If he can ever improve his handle he will be a lot faster too. His dribble can get much lower to the ground (super high dribble as it is).

I think he had the best shooting % as the PNR ball handler in college last season, so his ball skills shouldn't be that big of a surprise.

When I saw it in live action I had no idea how he got the pass off.

Yah, it was really nice. Orlando's stream had a nice replay from behind the basket. I will try to find it and post it later.

And the jazz has won two in a row. This is crazy the tank is in danger.
It always was in danger.
This team has too much talent to ever have a real shot at a top 5 pick.

It's just taking time to get chemistry and to get familiar with system. This team will be better at the end of the year than they are now and win alot of meaningless games that will piss us all off.

I see the jazz getting a pick between #9 and #13
