he pointed to the corner b/c that's where they always have him as a shooter to keep his defender honest and space the floor to provide driving lanes for the ball handlers up top. you'd know this if you paid attention to the games. they've been having him do the same thing in g-league. nothing more to it.

Looks like Grayson will be nothing more than a spot shooter in the corner

I think Grayson might be in trouble. In regards to quin. I noticed when he was checking in. Quin pointed straight to the corner. I hope he gets a chance though. Poor guy

Quin takes psychology into account way way more than people realize, he makes decisions based on whats good for the season and the players overall development opposed to the one game emphasis we have. He wants to build their confidence and also limit what they have to think about after the game, be it a mistake or a really nice play

What does everyone think of Grayson?

His athleticism and all-around game gave him an advantage at the college level. In the pros he's just another guy. He needs to figure out how he's going to contribute best. Quin has obviously given him a green light to shoot and attack as soon as he touches the ball. He needs to figure out his spots.

He actually looks quick when making drives off the catch... on defense he looks like he is running in mud. I’m not really concerned but I’m also not super intrigued. I think he’s an nba player but I’m not sure he’s gonna be much better than a guy like pat connaughton.
