And as stated in my previous post, if we’re going to bitch about this foul call then we can’t accept the bogus call we received on our very next offensive possession when truly one of the few bad calls of the game was made. Mitchell was dead in the water. Gordon played perfect defense. And Donovan got one favorable call. Arguably the worst call of the game went our way.

A punch is when you hit someone hard in the face with your hand.
So wow, the Jazz got 2 calls that you think favored them. Houston got 15 at least that favored them. Refs don't call them for travels or pushoffs on them that they should. They get calls for flops. They get fouls in their favor that the opposition does not get for the same contact.

The Rockets are a better team. But it would be nice to win a couple. We lost this one because we couldn't make wide open threes. I think that last miss by Donovan had as much to with that he was surprised that he was so wide open and rushed the shot.

Because we shot too many. Get out of the stupid mentality that some are going to fall. They just aren't analytics isn't real life. Threes are weak sauce garbage that allows the Rockets to not even have to guard us.

Certain plays stick out in my mind...

The botched lob from Royce to DM.
The steal and the. Throw ahead pass that went too far. The Ingles wide *** open three missed... Gordon wide open three and buries it. Any one of those plays flip... or we shoot 75% on free throws or 35% on threes or just don’t give up the offensive rebound to pj Tucker.

Tough night.

I hope we get swept and it forces DL to be more aggressive. I hope it lights a fire under our guys.

Morey constantly churns the roster and tries to improve... pj Tucker was out there a couple years ago at the trade deadline and in free agency... those are the type of additions we can make if we aren’t afraid to sign someone long term or trade out good pieces for riskier pieces that raise the teams ceiling. We have really passed on those types of moves in the name of continuity and flexibility... some of that flexibility is now used up in the Dante Exum extension. It disappears a little each year... gonna be too late soon.
