Game #7: Grizzlies at Jazz, Friday 01/06/2012 7:00 MST

One can not hope to guard Gay, one can only hope to contain him. These are the kind of challenges that should only make Hayward better.

Gay looked really good against Sacramento. He was able to go where he wanted, and score whenever he wanted to.
The only thing I can say to that is Sacramento sucks, and they had absolutely no interior defense or help from anyone big.
Gay will not be able to just stroll in for a layup like he did last night, unless of course we (Raja/CJ) let him.

Not sure if this was mentioned in the thread but I saw a couple guys leave last night's game. How are they?
Howard?
Millsap? I think he re-entered as is fine.
Big Al? Or was that just the game before?

Cramps and what not. Nothing overly serious. Millsap hyper extended his kneee but ame back and played. Most of them are playing or listed as day to day.

Enes Kanter had a one-handed dunk in the last game that looked pretty easy for him. I'd like to see more of that...

Memphis won tonight at Minnesota but had to play until the very end. With ZBo out as well the Jr Jazz should be able to run and be fresh.

He was wide open and right in front of the basket, I hope it would be easy. Especially going up one handed.

I liked seeing that is well.....and i also would like to see some more of it! :)

In all of Kanter's games (I've seen most of them including the FIBA ones this summer) he almost always dunks with two hands. I don't know if he feels uncomfortable dunking with one hand or what, but it seems that dunking over someone normally requires one hand. Hopefully, he will figure this out. Look at the little move he does here at 1:10; he dunks with absolute ease and without effort and looks really agile. He doesn't look 6'11'', 268 at all with how fluid he moves. Kanter also has big hands; much bigger than Derrick Favor's and even Al's, I think (Draft Express). He should use this more as well.

Rubio was excellent tonight, but the T-Wolves could not make a free throw and that ended up being the difference.

I hope Harris can go, he could have a solid game vs. Grizzlies.
