4 @ 26 is overpaying, but I'd bet Denver would match that. I like Afflalo, but he's not a star. So you pay non star prices or go shopping.

How much would it take to steal Afflalo from the Nuggets?

Finding that perfect # where they won't match, but we won't be overpaying is tricky, to say the least. Not only that, but we'd have to offer more than any other team that wants to steal him as well. Even if we did somehow get him to sign an offer sheet, that puts us in a position where we are stuck waiting for Denver to match or not. The only way I can see Utah going after someone else's RFA is if it's a team that would have a really hard time matching, like when they went after Boozer. I guess it's not impossible, but I think AA is a pipe dream.

I'm looking at this line-up of Harris, Hayward, Millsap, Favors and Jefferson, and I'm wondering who in this draft breaks into that starting line-up. Irving....maybe Williams. If the Jazz can't draft Irving or Williams, they'd be padding their bench with a player like Kanter, Biyombo, Knight or Vesely. Maybe they draft a wing and bring Millsap off the bench.
