Slow starts, how to deal with them? TV crew has been documenting the comebacks made in these last losses. So with better starts we could win more.
We seem to start every game slow and sluggish and clunking every shot. I would suggest:
1. Get them out there early for intense 5 on 5, get them in a mode to compete and making shots in competition.
2. Mandate something like the first 3 shots must be dunks or layups, no jumpshots. Get them working hard from the start for good shots.
3. Mandate they get some fouls playing tough D early on, not stupid fouls but fouls from being very agressive.

It seems like ages ago that the 4-6 jazz visited Toronto the day after defeating he Knicks in dramatic fashion. The raptors teased the jazz, letting the Jazz lead by 3 at halftime, and trail by only 4 going into the 4th, before the raptors blew it open eventually winning by 18 points.
Since then the jazz are a miserable 1-6 losing by an average margin of 10 pts.
Meanwhile, for the raptors, beating the jazz was the start of a 6 game winning streak. They have gone 7-2 since beating the jazz the first time. They average over 108 P&g, and have only failed to reach 100 twice this season ( Chicago, Memphis).
Go Jazz.
