If you miss a shot early in the clock, you can still foul and only be down 3. It was the best idea to get a quick shot. The play took way too long and we there was a fight for a rebound that wasted a lot of time. Too bad we had to use so many timeouts early. Quin probably over coached in that regard and didn't leave a spare TO for this situation.
 
Quin didn't manage well the timeouts at the end. The last timeout he took was useless. Why trying a difficult three and not an easy bucket?! It hurts this loss at the end...it was in our hands!

If he would have taken it to the hole or even just drive and do his little 15 ft pull up. He's money with that.

The Jazz have the 3rd most clutch player in the NBA (Burks) and we don't let him take the last shot. So disappointed.
 
Guys, pretty certain that was not how the play was drawn up. Hood did not make a great decision then

Exactly. Go for two at the buzzer. Go for anything at the buzzer. Leave no time on the clock. Live or die on the shot to win. Could've been epic. Hell, had they done that and missed I wouldn't feel bad at all. But this? Just a terrible failure.

Nah, with no timeouts just go for broke at the buzzer. Asking the team to go down the court in a couple seconds to hit a tying three shouldn't have even been considered. A two pointer at the buzzer should have been the only thought.
