I was saying I would rather do that than end up with the Hood shot. There were other options. Hood could have given the ball to Hayward who had left his guy way behind and had a pretty clear route to the basket around Gobert and Favors. Or my personal favorite, waited for Burks to come up on the other side and let him go against Curry.
