Such a painful loss. They had momentum, and just lost it at the end. Glad they were able to get back in the game, but still, ugh. I have no idea who the hell drew up a play for Hayward to take the last shot...he was terrible all game.
Some random musings...
I hope the Jazz keep Booker for a long time. When that jagoff Butler was standing there he was the first to get him out of the way. The Jazz have needed a player like Booker in the worst way, and he's showing why he's here, just to show the other team that crap like that won't be tolerated.
There was a play midway thru the 1st quarter that bothered me, even though it was inconsequential. The Bulls missed a shot and the ball was never possessed by the Jazz, and went out of bounds off the Jazz with 8 seconds left on the shot clock. The shot clock was reset, and the ref for some reason I can't fathom reset it to 17 seconds. Yet there was no (shocking) explanation by the Jazz crew about it. What the hell happened there. Did I miss something where 17 seconds was the appropriate time to be put back on the clock? It didn't matter anyway since the Bulls turned it over, but the lack of an explanation and a replay by the Jazz staff was just irritating.
The jazz tipped the ball but never took possession.
