Game thread: Game #19 : Trail Blazers at Utah, Monday 01/30/2012 7:00 PM MST

doesn't have to do anything with the position he is playing, but i expected more from him this season... like a little jump from the rookie season but he seems to be even worse.

He is better in every area besides shooting. Sadly shooting is 60% of his game, and the most important part of his game.

LOL He couldn't have a worse half without dying.

Wrong. He only had 1 TO, also, his last two missed shots led directly to Jazz put backs.

Imagine a 2nd half with him giving And 1's to Wallace, bad shots leading to fast breaks, getting blocked at the rim repeatedly, and getting stripped easily with his high dribble.

if favors only could add one or two little post moves... every time i see him in the post, he seems trying to jump over people on every single position to dunk the ball which often ends with a turnover... but so far, he has been solid with his putbacks. i like this, if he is not forcing things on offense.

Yes but if you noticed he also caused to possessions to stay with Utah causing Thomas to hit it out of bounds.

Yeah, I was just joking. I wonder how inflated his rebounding stats are though from getting his own miss? I wonder if he gets his own miss an inordinate amount of times, or is that a normal rate?

I also like that he has the balls to take JS, but he has to start making some.

Jazz had no energy for lots of periods of time. The second unit at least had some energy. They should go to Favors a few times in a row with pick and rolls or something to try and get him going. Hayward is so infuriating, he has an all round nice game, and then goes 1 for 9 or 0 for 8, missing lay-up after lay-up. Millsap is off again as well. In short, the Jazz looked horrendous in the first half, and the best news is that it probably won't get worse. Yeah!!
