What's new

Game Thread: Jazz at Raptors, any minute now

I think Mitchells flaws are all in the head. The pressure of him having to be the guy is causing him to play outside of himself. I don't think the shoe deal helps with the pressure either. It'd be nice if we had anybody who would take a little pressure off of him with a consistent offensive threat.

Still, he hasn't been what we was expecting and not even close. I can only think of a few games where's he looked the part of what we hope he will eventually be. It's extremely concerning but it's only his sophomore year. It's too early to judge him unlike other vets.

This too. Obviously there's still a lot of justifiable hope for Donovan to improve and become more efficient, not so much for Ricky. He is who he is.
He just had a career year last year. Is he really "he is who he is"? I'm not saying he can get drastically better, but he just got better last year.

Why wasn't Korver in the line up after that time out? This is the kind of thing that makes me go 'hmm what?' in regards to quin, so rigid to change according to the game situation.

Yet the play was for a dude shooting 7 of 22.

And he's followed it up this year by being...less than great. He's nearly thirty and he's been playing basketball professionally for almost fifteen years, yeah, basically he is who he is.

My point is that by now I think we all have a pretty good idea of who Ricky Rubio the basketball player is, Donovan still has tons and tons of potential for improvement.
