Game Thread: Jazz at Raptors, any minute now

Too vague assessment. Rubio and Exum both cut up the Raptors.... missed a bunch of shots. Mitchell remains the focus of the opponents and he missed a couple of great looks early which hurt his mojo... The opposing guards did nothing to hurt the Jazz tonight.
It's vague because it's an immediate post game reaction lol

You mentioned Rubio too. Who constantly gets beat off the dribble, can't buy a basket, and the second he enters the fourth quarter instantly turns the ball over.
He was good on defense tonight and only had two TO the whole game. Rubio played well late in the game. On the other hand, Exum had a couple of bad plays before Quin decided to sub Rubio in

Consistantly getting beat off the dribble expecting Rudy to cover for his lack of effort is not good defence. I love Ricky but the comments on this board about his defense is way overboard at times. Dude cheats on screens and leans on 'team defense' he seems to be easy pickings to cross up by anyone. The Rudy factor covers so much of our individual players individual D it ain't funny.

He gets beat off the dribble but I didn't see that happening constantly this particular game.

Our point guards have given up the 11th most FanDuel points out of 30 teams.

Our shooting guards have given up the 30th most points. In other words, Donovan and Co. have been great on d there as they’re #1 defensively.

SF-25th. Very good. Last night couldn’t have helped matters here doe.

PF-28th. Excellent.

C-11th. Ouch.

There were two occasions last night where Rudy tried to back a player down. One time it worked on a mismatch and I believe the other time he got to the line. I sincerely hope he can work this into his repertoire in the future. It shows that he is continuing to work on all facets of his game.

So you're going to go with Quinn and put Rubio (who can't shoot), Donovan (who can't shoot), Ingles (who couldn't shoot the whole night), Jae (who played great), and Gobert (who can't shoot) to end the game also? Leonard already had a career night against Joe so why not put Korver in who shoots better than Joe?

Rubio was pretty garbage defensively in the first half, particularly the 1st quarter where he just looked slow. He looked vastly better on that end in the 2nd half so I think he wasn't playing hard in his first game back from that knee injury in the 1st half.

It has looked better recently... I’m still really cautious though because before that it almost always ended terribly
