I'm pretty jelly of the Jazz's young core. Ours pales in comparison. They have a bright future just need to retain Hayward and Favors and see if Exum pans out.

I remember a year ago when half this board thought it was absurd to give him a max. But yeah, I would take Hayward in a heartbeat.
Hack a Gobert? First time I have ever seen that done. Then gobert goes and makes six in a row.
Hayward is averaging just a hair under 20ppg. Gobert is shooting over 60% from the field, but a little underwhelming at just 10 points and 3.8 boards. They have a lot of nice talent, but I have never liked the Burke/Burks combo. They still probably have all the pieces they need to walk all over a doormat like us.

Players' coach. Guys are going to WANT to come play for Quin in Utah (and stay). EXACTLY the coach we needed for DL to hire. Love the wink, too, This is Rudy's team, He's the leader. And it's contagious. Lyles is into it, then he gets Gordon doing the flex. Booker has fire. Favors has really come out of his shell. Can scarcely remember the quiet boy who arrived via trade and reportedly kept to himself.
This core just HAS to stay together. Gobert can set the first example by agreeing to a 5 yr/$100M extension. That would show the rest he's willing to take less than he'd get on the open market, Then the ball would be in Hayward's court to do the same type deal.

Good to see Hayward and Hood step up. Hayward is playing a lot more aggressively, and with more passion. Hood is finally out of his early season funk, and
has become more consistent. The defense is there with Favors back. We are a shooter away from where we want to be.

Rodney Hood carries the day again, this dude is turning into a great player before our eyes. Still loving that he never seems rattled and is always composed. Hopefully they can keep it going through the ASB.
